After fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi was granted bail by the Dominican High Court, an Indian Air force plane landed at Douglas Charles airport in Dominica on Monday.

Choksi was allowed to return to Antigua and Barbuda, where he has been living as a citizen since 2018 after leaving India, for medical consultation.

The court further said that Choksi will “only” return to Dominica to face trial for illegal entry into that country when a doctor “certifies” that he is fit to stand trial.

A Dominican court on Monday granted interim bail to fugitive businessman Mehul Choksi and allowed him to travel to Antigua and Barbuda, where he is a citizen, “strictly for medical treatment.”

  1. Seems like the Indians knew in advance that he would be granted bail. Are they waiting outside the hospital to kidnap to India with the blessing of Skerrit and Gaston?

    • Choksi must return to India to answer for his crimes. He stole billions of dollars from poor people there. We cannot Harbour this fugitive on Caribbean soil.

Choksi is not sick, this is just a trick by his Liars to hold him in Antigua.
