Home Invasion in Cassada Gardens

3

In the quiet neighborhood of Cassada Gardens on the same fateful night, a horrifying home invasion unfolded around 3:30 a.m.

A resident contacted Police Headquarters reporting a break-in by four armed men.

The victim, asleep in his bedroom, was abruptly awakened by a loud crashing sound.

Investigating the disturbance, he encountered four masked and armed men, one of whom, approximately 5’9″ tall, demanded money in an Antiguan accent while brandishing a firearm.

The violent intrusion resulted in injuries to both the victim and his sister, who was also present in the house.

It was revealed that the assailants forcibly entered through an eastern door, causing substantial damage that necessitated replacement.

Despite extensive efforts by the police to locate the offenders, they remain at large.

Investigations into this harrowing home invasion are ongoing, focusing on identifying and apprehending the perpetrators to ensure justice for the traumatized victims.

  1. Imagine I’m reading this and I’m traumatized.I can only imagine how the occupants of the house must have felt and still feeling.May God grant them peace of mind!

  2. Haha! What is this “In an Antiguan accent” phrase that is being included in every report? We are in Antigua so the assumption would be that most people speak in “an Antiguan accent”. Is this a not so subtle way of saying “Antiguans commit crime too”? Also, what is in an accent? Anyone can change up their accent. What does this prove?!!! ANR is so hilariously frustrating

  3. @johnny – I was wondering the same thing. Someone is going out of their way to ensure we get that bit of information.
