Hit-and-Run Case Involving Guadeloupean Fisherman Delayed Again

1

Katja Geisler, implicated in a hit-and-run involving Guadeloupean fisherman William Nouy, awaits news on police evidence nearly two years after the incident.

Her recent court appearance postponed her committal to June 10, five days after the incident’s anniversary.

The incident occurred on June 5, 2022, at Falmouth Harbour Marina, where Nouy suffered severe brain injuries from being struck by Geisler’s alleged vehicle.

Geisler faces charges of dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident, awaiting Magistrate Dexter Wason’s decision on trial proceedings in the High Court.

  1. Does the media in Antigua ever get anything right? The accident did not happen in Falmouth Harbour Marina as stated in the report. The accident happened on Dockyard Drive on the approach to Falmouth Harbour. More importantly has someone been paid off to kill this case or is it more incompetence by the Police. There is CCTV and other physical evidence that the lady knocked down the young man and sped away, leaving him to die like a dog. Time to call out the Police on this matter.
