The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service has issued a High Surf Warning for:
📍 British Virgin Islands, Anguilla & Barbuda

⏰ Timing:

BVI: Friday afternoon → Monday midday

Anguilla: Friday evening → Monday morning

Barbuda: Friday night → Monday afternoon

🌊 Conditions:

Seas: 7–9 ft, locally up to 11 ft

Swells: North, 8–9 ft, occasionally higher

Surfs: Over 9 ft, very dangerous rip currents

Potential coastal flooding & beach erosion

🚫 Precautionary Actions:

Avoid entering the sea along northern/north-facing coastlines

Stay away from rocks, jetties & exposed coastal structures

Only swim on sheltered beaches where lifeguards are present
