Dexter Scotland, accused of killing Jahfari Isaac in Willikies, has had his case scheduled for the September assizes in the High Court.

The All Saints Magistrate’s Court, on Monday, revealed sufficient evidence found by the police, prompting Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel to fast-track the case to the January assizes.

Isaac, a father of a three-year-old, was fatally shot on June 4th, 2023, outside a local bar, sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.

Despite treatment at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, he succumbed to his injuries a week later.

Scotland was promptly arrested and charged, with the committal process occurring in record time.
