The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs has welcomed Michael Joseph following his appointment as minister, effective May 5, 2026.
In a statement, the ministry said it “warmly welcomes the Honourable Michael Joseph on his appointment as Minister,” extending congratulations as he takes over leadership of what it described as a vital portfolio.
“This portfolio plays a critical role in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our nation, advancing environmental sustainability, and strengthening the public service,” the statement said.
The ministry added that it looks forward to working with Joseph as he assumes responsibility for healthcare, environmental management and civil service affairs.
“We look forward to working under his guidance and vision to continue delivering high-quality healthcare, promoting national wellness, protecting our environment, and enhancing service delivery across the civil service,” it said.

Seems like he will be around for a long time , as long as he stay true to his promises. Put your constituents first all the time. Look at the people of this down trodden constituency as your family. Never be too busy to attend to their needs. Move away from the beggy , beggy politics and come up with programs that will teach them to fish for themselves.
Also continue with your own, education both academically and professionally and soon and very soon you can become Antiguas PM. Finally and most importantly stay away from corruption, greed and self enrichment.
I know for a fact he will do a great job at the helm of his Ministry which is his area of expert and I know he will take very good care of his constituency….
