Police officers in Guyana are on the hunt for a man accused of raping his daughter.
According to reports, the 12-year-old girl was asleep when she was awakened by her father who threatened her with bodily harm before he raped her at their house in Region One.
A report was made to Guyana’s Child Protection Agency who then alerted police.
Police say the suspect has since fled the area and is in hiding.
Investigations are ongoing.
