  1. Why Lord. Then idiots come under these posts to blame government. Please let’s pay close attention to our children and stop blaming others for our mess up. Charity begins at home.

    • A parents me come under us for blame, all are you who say don’t hit my child, now violence tun up, me does hate when my neighbours dem go to my old lady, but me know data why me never get inna problems, cause it na worth the trouble.

    • You are perfectly correct!!! Blame must be on everyone but ourselves. Govt needs to fix up boys training School and another place of choice for youths. Girls one way and boys one way. When they spend some time in solitude, they will change this dunce mentality.

    • How are the guns getting into Antigua? Start there first. Antigua doesn’t manufacture guns. That’s where the government comes in. Get to the root cause of the problem in order to solve it.

  2. They take children into custody. Hope they pressure their little behinds to say where they got the guns. I am assuming the found guns at the scene.

  3. Pure ignorance. These youths are committing these intense criminal acts because they are safeguarded by lenient punishment. Arrest them and they get sent back to the irresponsible parents and they are back on the corner with their friends being hailed as a badman. This is the downfall of our society young boys and also girls thinking the way to be grown is committing violent acts and fighting. These youths don’t even look at the future because they are living for the moment and don’t care what happens. They only care when they get older and expect society to embrace them and give them chances after chances to make right. They need to revamp the law for these teenagers who are committing adult criminal acts. We already know parents are not going to be held accountable because politicians need votes. Otherwise the public are held captive to young terrorists who will make a negative impact on the economy when people will start to refuse to come to Antigua due to crime. Remember Antigua is not like JA and other places where the tourists can just stay on the resort and not go into town. We also have to look at these females who pick wutless guys to procreate with, these guys who have multiple baby mothers and not taking care of their youths so what will be the difference when he has a 6th baby mother smh true shame how things are going in Antigua. I know there are still good youths in Antigua and Barbuda.

  4. Yes blame the GOVERNMENT. Now if the law say don’t kill because you will be hanged…….I as a parent will in still in my child that if you kill they will hang you. Please I talking to you these are my rules and regulation so you won’t break government rules and regulation so they can’t hang you. Sometimes government laws help us raise our children aright to prevent shame face. Government say every child must be Educated, if I prevent my child from being educated, that government deal with me. So too set harsh laws to deal with these children and their parents.
Where are the laws, where are these place that young people make better división. Yes train them in the home but with the law, government and harsh punishment backing us up we can make imposible possible

  5. Guns everywhere now, imagine the sperm givers who call dem self bad man and hab the gun dem that dem children collect to practice to be bad man.
A suh the ting a run now.
Dem lub mek threts and run dem moth like females and a crave for others to fear dem but dem nuh scare nobody, dem nuh bad, dem only smell bad.
Dem hab some who hate the ground that foreigners walk on and a try style dem but a nuh nottin, a suh de ting set up, dem nuh scare we neither. We come ya and will still survive while dem watch us reach the top while dem inna de gutter and rem if we don’t dodo dem cyaan nyam.

  6. @Bombasticsiseeye: Shut ya RH!
Ah foreigner lakka yu come yah an mash up de likkle peaceful island.
Plenty ah aru ah criminal run wey fram
yard-deportees fram US, UK, Canada etc
Since the island have a higher %age of non nationals than nationals, the probability is, foriegners are committing at least half of the crimes in Antigua.

Gu back ah unu jungle, dutty johncrow!
