  1. Is anonymity required when an individual investor or a group of investors propose a development project to the Cabinet? Hopefully one of you in the know can bring clarity to this vexing issue over and over again. Someone faithfully said that they had investors lined up to come into the country. These SALAD WORDS need to be fed to some hungry bulls!

  2. This is another Gaston Browne FLOP special. Big words, big promises, big ground breaking but no performance. Pure erectile dysfunction. Can’t get it up and going. Just like all of Gaston’s other projects. This is pure election gimmick. Give me an aspirin.

  3. A hotel on a golf course is one thing, but who are going to own the homes? Is this another great idea of Gaston Browne to give away Antigua to foreigners? Now the developers on Barbuda are advertising for maids and golf course keepers, will we soon be seeing similar adds in Antigua? When you can’t find Antiguans and Barbudans to take these jobs, I guess you will bring in non nationals.
I am sure I heard Gaston say on his radio show on Saturday that there will be jobs in Barbuda for custodians, in other words glorified maids.
Some people in Antigua will benefit from excavating and some construction jobs, but after completion what? Will you or your son be benefiting? From the amount of money you say is being invested, Antiguans can’t buy these homes.
Gaston, where are the jobs for the students completing secondary school and university? Why can’t you find investors to provide jobs to develop their skills.
You truly don’t love or respect black Antiguans and Barbudans. You are hell bent on selling us back into servitude with the foreign masters.
When you bring all these foreigners into Antigua, they will do what they please as if you can’t touch them, their foreign governments will march right in to protect them.
Are your ministers on the same page with you or they dare not speak. Both your and their grandchildren will suffer the consequences as the other races only like black people when we are cleaning up after them.

    • My dear the homes will be bought / owned by the investors rich frens as time share… where other wealthy golfers gladly rent them. Antiguans will not have access to that road becos it would be a gated community …heavy security.

Gaston is always selling ANTIGUA out to the rich the only incentive antiguans if as much get jobs as maids and property maintentance workers if that becos ANTIUANS TOO PROUD TO BE CALLED A MAID aka CUSTODIANS

      • I guess there will be a fence as high as the Chinese embassy to keep Antiguans out. With security guards at the gate like Mill Reef and Jumby Bay.

  4. Chinese built, Chinese owned and turning private soon after! Antigua needs affordable housing and not being sold out by the government.

  5. A Group, they say. Did they use that same language to described the disappearing Investor at Morris Bay,Old Road. This so called Hotel Project at Cedar Valley Golf Course. I thought it was supposed to be a Marriott Hotel Project a few years ago. What became of that Project?

  6. Lord please please help us in this yah country. Election round the corner now another investor like YIDA to help. Which investor in the world is going to put US$50,000,000 in an escrow account. Gaston we know election is around the corner but please stop your F …………CKing lying. Lord help us in this yah country.

  7. Lord help us nappy head Antiguans and Barbudans. Vote Gaston back in office and see if our educated children don’t have to leave Antigua for opportunities. Only maids and gardeners will be required to service the rich foreigners. Gaston’s head could not be right.

  8. Another category of workers will be needed as per Max Hurst. Taxi drivers. Think there is an agreement for the investors to bring in their own staff?

  9. ABLP. 17 SEATS

UPP. .. 00 SEATS ( 6 CANDIDATES will lose Their Deposits)

DNA. …00. SEATS ( ALL CANDIDATES WILL LOSE THEIR DEPOSITS)

    • Come on ERIC (THE RED) is this your response to this article? We are aware of your nonsensical election results mantra, but does it make any sense to you that a group of investors are so serious about developing the Cedar Valley Golf Course that they have put US$50,000,000 in an escrow account and their names cannot be released. Where is the government’s credibility? Let’s see if the project starts in June 2022.

  10. TO END POOR GOVERNANCE, CORRUPTION AND UNACCOUNTABILITY ANTIGUANS AND BARBUDANS VOTING HAROLD LOVELL AND THE REDEEM TEAM ON ELECTION DAY. WE SAY NO TO SELF ENRICHMENT AND CORRUPTION SCHEMES LIKE WHAT IS PROPOSED ABOVE. THE DAWG, HIS POODLES AND HENCH MEN MUST ALL GO! WE WILL NOT BE FOOLED A THIRD TIME. UPP OUR ONLY CHOICE!
