LOOP: Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell, has extended condolences to the Government and the People of Antigua and Barbuda on the passing of Asot Michael.
In his condolences, Mitchell said the pain of such a loss is unimaginable, and no one is ever truly prepared for it, especially under such tragic circumstances.
He stated: “It is our sincere hope that the ongoing investigations are swift and that clarity regarding the cause of his passing is reached soon. We sympathise with Antigua and Barbuda at this time as they grapple with this profound sense of shock and mourning. We hope that his family and loved ones find solace in the cherished memories of his life, accomplishments and the meaningful service he provided to the nation.”
Asot Michael, who was a Member of Parliament in Antigua, was found murdered in his home on Monday.
Michael, an independent MP, had just won his fifth consecutive term in the 2023 election.

The late Asot Michael,should be accorded a State Funeral.The man served the Nation and the Constituency for decades.Others have done less in my opinion and have gotten more.Gaston Browne,you can make it happen,so do so now.In closing,let me say.Let he who is without sin,cast the first stone.RIP,ASOT MICHAEL.
