  1. Why turn up to hear labor party propaganda…. it was a very smart move by the upp! If people were satisfied with the government performance, why is it so many people living in poverty? Why is it more than half the population is unemployed? All it takes is the independent voters to start vote and ALP will be finished for good!

    • I live in the states. Boston to be exact and always listen to the observer radio religiously. To the point where I started to dispise Gaston and the ablp. Like my country of birth was in total disarray with nothing going right in 108.62.
Then I came home for carnival with a preconceived view that the country and its people would be on dire straits. Shockingly surprised that after 13 years away things were NOT as I was led to imagine.
Where was the starvation or hunger. Or the blatant atrocities the GASTON levied on the citizens?
Then I heard Gaston on one Saturday after on a radio station. Got to find out it was his radio station and he frequents it every Saturday.
So I started to tune in ever so often to try and get another take on the island stewardship from the present government.
I must tell you guys, do not listen to one side of the argument cause you will ALWAYS form a skewed opinion which lends to one being biased against a person…be it Gaston , because that’s who the observer radio hosts keeps attacking.
I have now leant that this Gaston fellow is a brilliant chap who is quite fearful of letting a lesser sharp minded individual take the reins of power.
I will keep on listening and return in about 3 years
So I will take this opportunity to apologize to Gaston for disposing him because of hearsay.

      • @ Antiguan livin in Boston

Yeah right- you cannot even spell which is the strain amongst the writings of the minions. U tink u can fool antigua people- fool your fellow minions, not us.

      • Dare I say @ Antiguan living in Boston, that if you took off your “holiday hat” 🧢 and stayed for around 3 months instead of 3 weeks, you would have definitely witnessed a very different scenario.

Anyways, I’m glad to hear you enjoyed Antigua 🇦🇬 though … 😁

      • Boston you say?
So when you came home did you stay only up at the airport, cause after one passes the road that ends at that dumb roundabout, its a ruff ride!!!
Did yiu bring and inverter with you and a pump for water cause GOD knows, APUA “necessary for life means” that we need more than 2 funeral homes
GasTon is brillant but he needs help. Brillant people who are in a world of their own, scare the hell outta me
SO LISTEN TO CARIBBEAN RADIO LITE HOUSE , 91.1, 99.1, PANDORA, SPOTIFY, but remember this: ah arwe who lib yah, know wha arwe hab fu go through, partna

      • @Boston, I agree with you that there is a lot of bias on different media platforms these days. In the “old days”, journalists were expected to report both sides of a story. These days, you need to look for both sides for yourself. Some commenters also interpret every single action of a person they dislike in a negative way. I actually believe that the PM does in fact care about the development of the country and getting people to a minimum acceptable standard of living, but he also has to navigate the world of international politics and do business with all kinds of people so some of what he does is affected by that. He does also like to set himself and his family up financially. Nothing is wrong with helping your family and friends, but sometimes it can be a little excessive and take opportunities away from those who need it more e.g. the farming business. It would be kinder sometimes to invest in others who actually need the income and allow them to prosper as well. He is not the only one who maybe looks out for himself and family and friends more though. Lots of senior management persons do the same when they get those jobs – give all opportunities and contracts to friends whether deserving or not, often causing wasteful spending while ignoring urgent needs for equipment and acceptable working conditions etc. by lower workers. Also, the opposition reportedly did the same when they were in office so they lack credibility on the issue.

    • @ Independent voters stand up!!

”another sign of poor performance”, just like the POOR PERFORMANCE OF BANGING OFF THE ABLP AND GASTON AND BLOWING THEM AWAY IN ST MARY’S SOUTH EVEN AFTER BUYING SO MANY STOVES, FRIDGES, BICYCLES AND SPENDING IN EXCESS OF $5,000,000.00 TO LOSE TO SHUGGY- I PREFER THESE POOR PERFORMANCES THAT MAKE U GUYS CRY 😢😢😢😢😢😢.
Up to now you guys have not been able to catch yourselves-bitterness can kill, be careful

  2. Sooo Chet ‘The Irrelevant’ Greene, UPP not showing up is a big big problem, but ABLP not running the economy is alright in your eyes?

Antiguans, roll up, roll up, there’s a NEW ABLP circus clown 🤡 in town … roll up, roll up!!

  3. These people have no shame. “Tek”Chet dares to speak of performance? What the hell has he done in ten years as Foreign Affairs Minister and Agricultural Minister? Cades Bay lies in ruins; Dunbars is being given away for houses. Just what has he done?
Hey? “Tek” Chet? Psssst. ALP is the government. It is YOUR performance that needs evaluation. How much was budgeted for Agriculture? Two sentences were used to speak on Agriculture? What have you to say to that? Whew! No wonder this country is in such a quagmire!
@Boston, I don’t know what Antigua you visited, but it can’t be the one I live in. Did you get to bathe the whole time? Did you drive? Did you visit St. Johns and take a deep breath?
Talk about wolf in sheep clothing. Wow.

  4. I wonder if ‘COUPING LEADERSHIP’ comes around as a result of poor performance?

Like Tanny Rose (according to gaston) it appears to me as if Chet has no shame.

  5. Show up for what I might dear ask, for what?

The same way Samantha tried to call out Shuggy to come debate, and he didn’t go, and what happened, the Guy called George got his arse kicked just we predicted!!

This a good move. Time for the UPP to stand up to this failed ruling party and show some spine like Shuggy did.
The big man Shuggy is in the house 🏠, and I’m happy that the UPP is listening to him, because I can bet my last bread 🥪 that this move was orchestrated by the brilliant Shuggy.

You go sir. Mad respect for the man call Shuggy Simon.
