The government will restructure the Ecclesiastical Commission to ensure it meets its intended purpose, as outlined in last week’s Cabinet notes. The Commission aims to maintain the separation of church and state while fostering a collaborative bridge to achieve their broad objectives.
Lionel Hurst, Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister’s Office, elaborated on the importance of this collaboration.
“The social fabric in Antigua and Barbuda, which fosters harmony and prevents violence, is based on certain religious principles,” Hurst stated.
He emphasized the value of the Ecclesiastical Commission and the church’s influence, noting, “Since 1879, the separation of church and state has been a hallmark of Western civilization. We are committed to maintaining this separation while ensuring cooperation to uphold our social fabric.”

More free money for the [ministers] of religions, as, they’re bribed by [ministers] of government to deliver votes (followers, sheeple) to Charlatans and Pied_Pipers known as, politicians.
The church and state are partners in crime, as they protect and advance each other, at the expense of the People. They were, and are not separate because as time is left, in its own wake it has being proven, that, they’re of the same root of the same tree just different branches.
#Money_Fu_Votes!
The church is the State, and the state is the Church.
