Cabinet Notes:
The Chairman of Cabinet has noted that the President of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) will hold face-to-face discussions on Friday, June 11, 2021.
The discussion will surround a series of important matters including a $50 million dollar loan which Antigua and Barbuda hopes to receive in the struggle against Covid-19.
The CDB has also been a pivotal partner in the financing of LIAT over the years, and is owed significant sums by the four state-owners of the regional airline.
Other issues are to be raised by the Chairman.

CDB please keep out of Antigua and Barbuda politics, we don’t need another loan from your institution. This $50 million will only be used for election bribery by this wicked administration. In 2017 they borrowed $46 million to do four roads we still waiting on the roads, around 2020 they came again for $66 million to do the same four roads Sir Sydney
Wallen, All Saints, Valley and Anchorage roads, five years after they only start one road Sir Sidney Wallen and that looks like a bumb job happening for the election.CDB I beg you stop pumping millions into this inept administration to keep them in power, the people of Antigua and Barbuda can’t pay for these loans. CDB you are plunging A&B into an economic crisis with all these loans. Stop CDB!
