Antigua and Barbuda Government Planned Operation Of Cancer Centre by Early 2024

CABINET NOTES:

The Ministry of Health in Antigua and Barbuda has reached out to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to conduct an examination of the Cancer Centre.

The majority shareholder’s demand for nearly 40 million Eastern Caribbean Dollars for the purchase of the facility has been rejected by the government.

The government’s own valuator has estimated the worth of the Cancer Centre to be between six million to nine million EC dollars.

However, the impasse regarding the price has not yet been resolved.

In an effort to ensure transparency and fairness, the Ministry of Health has called for an independent assessment to determine the true value of the Cancer Centre.

  1. KOOYAH, LOOK DEY!

OH, NOW THE ABLP WANT SOME SORT OF INDEPENDENT TYPE ASSESSMENT/ENQUIRY????

ANTIGUANS ARE LED BY A BUNCH OF DUPLICITOUS HYPOCRITES – MI HAFFI LAUGH 😂

I WONDER WHAT THE GOVERNOR GENERAL HAFFI SAY ‘BOUT DIS?

    • “… the Ministry of Health has called for an INDEPENDENT assessment …”

      WOW, JUST WOW!

    • @brix aren’t you tired of being untruthful? The UN was here and reported on the matter only you would consider them not independent. The us state department also reported on the matter and essentially congratulated the government for efforts it made in handing the matter.i gather for you once the conclusions don’t meet your negative stance it’s not independent

      • I tell you what I’ve just realised @ tenman. All of us who want an independent investigation and enquiry into how the Africans arrived here in Antigua, must now recognise that we got the WORDING wrong.

What we should have called for – just like this government – was an “INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENT”.

        SEE IT DEY BOSS …

  2. They are going to hire the Valuator that gives them the valuation they want. I just don’t understand how you acquire a property and never had it “independently valuated”.

This is going to be a long drawn out process, draining public funds on attorney fees, multiple surveying costs and general upkeep of the building.
