  1. This is so vague. Who exactly are this banking group? My God,ABAA needs 100 million dollars? For what? Is this US or EC? ANR at least do some journalistic probing to extract details before publishing. This government is not trustworthy.

  3. Have the government paid off the last loan to upgrade the airport, which had a cost overrun, of almost 100%?
The future and present generations are being burdened with debts brought on by incompetent management, of the People’s monies.

  4. GASTON BROWNE IS TRUE TO HIS WORDS.HE DID SAY,HE WAS GOING TO BORROW ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA OUT OF “DEBT”. WHEN ALL OF YOU BRIGHT PEOPLE AT HOME AND ABROAD,FIGURE THAT MATHEMATICAL FORMULA OUT LET ME KNOW.FOR I AM NOT TOO BRIGHT.THE ONLY UNIVERSITIES AND OR COLLEGES I HAVE BEEN TO ARE FOR THE GRADUATIONS OF OTHERS.

  5. Borrow, Borrow, Borrow where does it end, no accountability, just borrow, somebody, someday, going have to answer

  6. As soon as the by-election is over, this government is back to the only thing they are good at.. Lie and rack up debt. 9.5% growth my arse, lol. Where is all this surplus money you talked about Gatson,, lies lies and more lies. Smdh.

  7. Antigua is the second largest growing economy in the Caribbean and Latin America. So we are told. Where there is growth, there should be visible prosperity. Maybe what should be said is that Antigua is the largest debtor nation in the Caribbean. The question is, where is all this money going? Gaston needs to explain to the people as it is their airport revenue that will most likely pay this debt. Look around Antigua and tell me where all the moneys borrowed and CIP have gone.
