Gospel Artistes in Antigua and Barbuda have come together to present a tribute song dedicated to their brothers and sisters in Barbuda and those in other Caribbean islands who have been affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria.

We In This Thing Together’ was written and produced by Billboard chart-topping and multi-award winning gospel artist Sherwin Gardner and recorded At Cadence Fire Studio in Antigua.

“Our islands love music, and this is a great way to bring our people together. We are going to be sending this song to the various radio stations locally and across the Caribbean and we will be partnering with Digicel and using their d’Music app to help bring awareness and support to our island. This is just the beginning of many more initiatives that the Gospel ministers in Antigua and Barbuda will be doing,” said Sherwin Gardner.

Digicel customers can show their support by donating to the Barbuda relief by texting “BARBUDA” to “2784”.  Each text will donate EC$5 to the effort.

Janice Sutherland, CEO of Digicel Antigua and Barbuda & Montserrat said of the drive, “Music is a force which unites us and we are pleased to have partnered with Sherwin Gardner and Gospel Fest to bring awareness to Barbuda Relief to the voices of our local talent.  We encourage everyone to donate to this cause as we seek to assist our brothers and sisters on Barbuda”.

Some of Gospel Artistes who are featured on the track are Emerge Gospel Challenge winners: Dornell Simon-Carty (2016), Peetron Thomas (2015), first runners-up Romancia Kingston (2015) and Kashm Charles (2017) and second runner up Joybany Quinn (2016); Naycha K.I.D; Kirlin McCay; Cadence; Jahdiel; Robyn; Apostle Dexter Laurence; Roxy; Kulcha D; Sade Sealey and more.
