Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder of 53yr-old Carlos Ollivierre of Golden Grove, who was discovered dead at his Farm Thursday night.
It was reported that the deceased left home around 6 am on Thursday to go to his farm, which is located just off Jonas Road. It was further reported that after he never showed up at home later that evening, family members became concerned and went in search of him.
His body was found lying on the ground inside a shed, with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds to his back. District Doctor, Dr. Gilbert Charles arrived on the scene and pronounced his body dead around 11:10 pm.
Meantime, police are appealing to the public for assistance to solve this matter. Anyone with information is asked to immediately contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 4623914.
