Andre Simon is a National Cyclist from Antigua and Barbuda.

 

On Sunday, May 08, 2022, at approximately 6:00 a.m, he was struck while training by a vehicle.

 

Since Sunday, he has been in critical condition at the national hospital, fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit.

 

He has not yet awakened, but we are hopeful that he will continue to heal.

 

Your assistance is needed on his journey to recovery.

  1. Gofundme for a “national cyclist”? Y’all must be having a laugh. What’s the point in being national anything if your Goverment won’t foot your medical expenses?

      As u can see by this story, since his name ain’t JACQUIE QUINN he is not worthy (apparently) to get the same from Medical Benefits.

      Jackie found it hard to even help the lady from her constituency who got shot. Only after mounting public pressure, she tried to say she a do subbn.

      I wish Mr. Simon all the very best, including adequate financial aid for medical treatment

  2. Listening to The Jojo Sports Show this morning, I learned that the hospital does not have a functioning MRI machine. Again?! It appears that the MRI machine is out of service more often than in service. God alone can help anyone whose life depends on that institution. SMDH

      Minister of Health , CMO & Director of MSJMC, seemed to enjoy their nightly then weekly tv briefings, so let’s resurrect them, monthly; not for Covid, but honest, transparent updates on the physical state of MSJMC & clinics… List the physical challenges, and monthly update each issue.
      No Excuses or pretty words, facts only.

      Maybe then, attention to detail, qualified maintenance and procurement of parts in a timely manner can become the norm.

      Wishing Andre & his family all the best. They did what they had to do, and no donation is too small.

  4. Why can’t he get access to the same amount that Jacquie Quinn got from Medical Benefits???? If only you were bosom buddies with Baldwin Spencer…one phone call dictating to MBS to dish out approximately US$500,000.00 for your medical treatment and you’d be good.

  5. So unfair that the “average man” has to resort to fundraising while JACQUIE QUINN didn’t need to even lift a toenail. Has she paid back one blue cent, so that Mr. Simon and others can get financial help too??
