Glanvilles

The Glanvilles Polyclinic will soon be reopened—its water-storage problem having been solved.

The Villa Polyclinic will begin offering pediatric treatment and EKG tests within a short time.

The Clinics are intended to ease the burden on the lone MSJMC E/R services.

  1. After months of promising to fix the water problem we should not be here.
It’s not how much money the govt spends, it’s about the benefits that are actually delivered to the people. Big modern health facility that it is unable to function for months, because of lack of water. Utter nonsense.

    • utter nonsense is an understatement

meanwhile the other clinics are falling apart
      roof leaking
      staff slipping on wet tiles
      patient records destroyed

if any government is serious (blue red yellow orange) they must try to at least look after the needs of the old and young who cannot afford the 300-700 dollars being charged at the private centers for suturing, nebulization, rehydrating fluids etc

  2. BIG UP to OBSERVER RADIO VOP once again.
This topic was aired THIS WEEK
Like magic- The clinic will now be open

GOD BLESS YOU PAUL AND FRANZ

  3. Are you naive Jennifer Jones?

It’s because it was mentioned over and over again by Alex, on Observor, by patients and by staff, why it’s a headline for discussion in Cabinet. It’s not because the facility is ready to be operational.
The proof is in the taste of the pudding so when will it be re-opened… December? January? When will ekg service start? Who will run the EKG? Will a cardiologist read the trace? Is a GP not qualified to see children, why pay a pediatrician if referralservices are available?
The fake and dumb are so tangible (tell the people what they want to hear). The word “soon” is used to fool the gullible !!

  4. If these things did not happen in nine years, nine months or nine weeks, why would they happen in ninety days. Sweet talk and bullshit walk.
I guess if I was a politician, I too would promise a solid undertaking and then ensure that on the surface, the ducktape can hold til election night.
Yes Mam, that will be done
Yes Sir, you will never want again
Clarevue will be remodelled, Nugent Ave will be the mini hospital, Mt st.john will not charge, Nurses will get their worth etc etc

  5. We were in Antigua last month. We went to Long Bay and stopped by the Clinic and it was closed.I do hope it stays open for the people of those areas who need it most.
