Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda His Excellency Sir Rodney and Lady Williams returned home this afternoon after an overseas visit.
The Consul-General’s office and the Antigua and Barbuda Association of Toronto invited their Excellencies to share in the 36 th Anniversary of Independence of Antigua and Barbuda .
Sir Rodney delivered the feature address at the dinner, which marked the 50 th Anniversary of the Toronto Association.
Their Excellencies also attended a church service where Bishop Charlesworth Browne delivered the sermon.
They then met with the LT Governor of Toronto- Elizabeth Dowdeswell and attended a sitting of Parliament with Consul General Ann-Marie Layne, where they were introduced. Later, they held discussions with The Hon Dave Levac, President of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
