The Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams and lady Williams met with secondary students from a cross section of secondary schools in Trinidad and Tobago.
In addressing the students, the Governor General laid emphasis on the need for our youth to acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and competencies needed to successfully navigate our challenging world.
Sir Rodney urged the children to make full use of the opportunities which came their way and shared information and experiences on best practices in the world of work.
The Governor General also emphasised the need for lifelong learning.
Sir Rodney and Lady Williams were invited to the Office of the President of Trinidad and Tobago to meet with His Excellency Anthony Carmona and his wife.
Several doctors, highly respected in the society and who studied with the Governor General were also in attendance.
