Generator Theft in Villa Under CID Investigation

SOURCE REAL NEWS ANTIGUA- A report of larceny – in which an unknown person stole a generator – is also being investigated.

A report of the incident was made to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) by the female victim, whose blue-and-black Yamaha 2600cc watts generator, valued at EC$2,500, was stolen between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on  March 16.

Allegedly, the generator was being stored in the northern area of the Villa woman’s porch.

Reportedly, her daughter had woken up at 3 a.m. on the day in question and turned off the generator.

However, when she awoke again at 6 a.m., the generator was missing.

  1. We are becoming our own enemy by creating fertile breeding ground for the criminals. The police can’t be every where. We have a role to play to assist in apprehending these criminals.

    Many of us see something but choose not to say anything until the criminal act reaches at our front door.
