A FREE KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) Workshop is being held this week, November 24th and 25th, 2025, at the National Public Library Conference Room as part of Antigua & Barbuda’s inaugural National Authors’ Week.
The workshop is a key offering under the “Ah Head Mek Book” (AHMB) initiative, designed not only for aspiring writers but also for established authors who are interested in expanding into self-publishing. Participants will explore advanced strategies for using Amazon’s KDP platform, including marketing techniques, branding approaches, and creating strong design alignment to make their books stand out in a competitive marketplace.
Sessions begin at 2:30 p.m. each afternoon and cover the full spectrum of self-publishing—from manuscript preparation and formatting to cover design, distribution, and promotional planning. Whether you are dreaming of writing your first book or looking to elevate your existing author career, this workshop offers practical, hands-on guidance.
National Authors’ Week marks a cultural milestone for Antigua & Barbuda, celebrating creativity, literacy, and the storytelling spirit that binds communities together.
With the theme “Building A Nation of Storytellers,” the workshop encourages both new and seasoned authors to turn their ideas into reality and strengthen their presence within the global literary space.
