The dust has not settled from the triumphant results of last week’s protest organized by Franz deFreitas; where citizens and residents turned out in their numbers to express their disdain with the present situation surrounding the educational system mayhem and standing up for the rights of our children’s future.
The prominent UPP City South Candidate continues to march forward with his aim to promote positive change and seek the best education system for the youths.
Last Sunday deFreitas met with interested persons, including residents of the City South Community to discuss the future of education in Antigua & Barbuda.
There, at East Country Pond and streaming online on Instagram and Facebook, between the hours of 12 noon – 2pm, the important interaction needed between representative and community members was established.
The participants shared their views, experiences, asked position questions of deFreitas and collaborated their ideas, with their foundation based on creating the best education system for the students of Antigua and Barbuda, making this a ground breaking, extraordinary event.
It is without a doubt that the efforts of deFreitas mixed with advocacy and action are fueled by his passion to develop youths holistically and specifically inject new focus on areas including entrepreneurship, the arts, leadership development, technology, emotional intelligence, trade skills and public speaking which he is currently involved.
DeFreitas is intent on doing the hard work necessary to revolutionize his cause of education by developing the minds of the next generation of leaders of Antigua & Barbuda.

Franz doesn’t know fart about Antigua and Barbuda. He spent the majority of his life building up another man’s country with no contribution to the land of his birth. He is out of touch with the Antiguan experience. This guy is allowing himself to be used by the UPP as a quasi-candidate to fill in a post left blank because of the untimely death of Mikey Burton.
