GIS: Progress on the resurfacing of Fort Road, the main route to Fort James, is well underway. The project covers a stretch of 1,500 feet with a new 4-inch thick asphalt layer, 18-feet-wide. The work, which started on Tuesday, October 8, is scheduled to last about three weeks and is being carried out by the Public Works Department 🇦🇬.
Minister for Works, Hon. Maria Vanessa Browne, emphasized that this initiative is part of the government’s ongoing commitment to improving public infrastructure across Antigua and Barbuda, ensuring that residents and citizens benefit from high-quality roadways meeting elevated standards.
