Former PRO Criticizes Leadership of UPP for Ian “Magic” Hughes’ New Role

Ian Magic Hughes. Top lawn tennis player in the OECS. One of Antigua Barbuda’s best. Unfortunately for all of us Antiguans, he was found guilty of child race, and spent some time in Hos Majesty’s Prison. When he was released, he became a critic of the Gaston Browne Administration blaming them for the prison conditions. Since his release the prison conditions have improved and that may have lead the UPP to make their decision to appoint him. Magic was the best. He is also full of himself and believes he knows everything. He is also a sexual predator and has served time in prison for molesting a minor. The United Progressive Party should be very careful in choosing their representatives. I too have done some things that I am not proud of. I admitted to my wrong doings and was granted a pardon and given a secon chance. Nowadays I am living my best life making sure I don’t repeat my mistakes.

Politics and power has turned our people stupid and destroyed our ability to care for each other. I trust no member of the UPP will dare to show their faces at the vigil for Chantel Crump. A party that supports and elevates a convicted child molester has no part to play in any aspect of our lives.

Regardless to which party we are talking about, in my lifetime I have voted for both parties, the first time I ever voted was for Molwyn Joesph, the second time was for Marshall when he ran against Dr. Sealy, since then I have always voted Opposition, with all their imperfections I still think they are the lesser of two evils, ABLP have their Magics too just ask Faithful National #1

This is why as much as I would love to vote out ABLP I could never vote for those UPP guys again. I was a UPP supporter for years thinking that they had the best interest of the country and people at heart. While I think they are more sincere than ABLP, they are embarrassing, not to mention incompetent which also adds to the embarrassment. Furthermore they have become very out of touch lately and refuse to listen to or respect concerns raised even by their own supporters and voters. ABLP guys on the other hand have been very down to earth and in tune with their people and their needs. UPP if you don’t fix all these issues and clean up house ASAP, you will never beat out those ABLP guys.

While some of those views resonates with the public, I have always think Winston fled from way back working with Dr Cort was a poor PRO for upp at the time and is still overated in his centrist political ideology, neither left or right wing. But back to UPP, they really need a big change in all top party leadership position, get a real political technician to advise them, that lady Joan underwood would be a great PR or chair person, and of course the stagnation by Pringle inexperienced should not be tolerated, as a supporter of the upp because ALP has always been doing $hit whenever they in power all stealing and white people empowerment I can’t support them, and is left here on the side wondering about the UPP I once loved under the right Hon. Baldwin Spencer.
