Dean Jonas Said: Genisis 3:6 says the following:

“When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.”

God created that tree. So according to Reverend George Williams of the catholic church, Eve was right to eat it!!

  1. So many can talk the talk, not many can live it , Unless you are living in sinless perfection leave the self righteous posturing alone . OUR hypocrisy is showing so we should all shut up.
    We are all sinners , Jesus saved us from the just punishment of our sins. Let him Judge the living and the Dead.
    JESUS PAID IT ALL – He knows who really try to be righteous and he knows the posturing hypocrites with dead souls and loveless hearts.
    But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

    • Jesus paid it all that we can choose him not for us to continue crucifying him with our sinful desires…he came on this earth and walk a sinless life as a human being and leaving his kingdom to show us we can live a sinless life by following what he did by keeping a relationship with him and turning from sin ….we make excuses because we love the sinful life but it’s not of GOD

      • If the holy spirit is bearing fruit in you soul, you cannot deliberately choose to sin. If you do the spirit has left you.

      • What are you saying? The pastor loves a sinful life or you?! Must be you because he said talents are of God. Music is a gift from God. I can’t stand hypocrites. Plenty of you all out there committing adultery and fornication and have no shame but a pastor saying talents are from the Lord is a problem?!

    • The Bible does speak of the false pastors/priests – They are known by their fruits- We can only pray people repent before it is too late

    What does let he who is without sin throw the first stone mean?

    In blunt terms, Jesus is saying: “If you’re going to appeal to the law, then go ahead and follow it!” The remark about sinlessness is interesting, but not entirely clear. Jesus is not speaking of complete moral perfection, else no human being could ever “judge” as we are commanded to by God (John 7:24).

To be fair, if you actually watch the video and listen to the sermon for yourself, what Father G actually said was that he doesn’t think soca MUSIC is sinful and that God wants people to have fun. He also said that the lyrics can sometimes go a bit too far especially around carnival time. He said the talent is a divine gift. He did not comment on whether any specific song is sinful. Some people believe types of MUSIC are sinful. Others believe only lyrics are sinful. The Bible says revelry is sinful, but doesn’t say whether listening to “fun” music without actually reveling is sinful or not. For the sake of the children, I personally wish pastors would mainly stick to just preaching Jesus’ actual words and what the early apostles etc. wrote. I also wish musicians would get more creative and produce songs with clean lyrics in these parts. The Bible says “Touch not the Lord’s anointed” so probably not good to overjudge the pastor’s words. Pretty sure he wasn’t condoning the explicit songs.

    • Emelda, he did not deceive! He said music isn’t bad. How is that deceitful? Is classical music a sin? Some of you all need to focus on the sin in your families and not make up issues where none exists.

      • Did you see the Lord annointing him, the Lord does annoint Cartolic ministers, they work against God, you better check your history and see how many christian people they kill in the dark ages. A minister of God do not endorse secular things and equate them as Godly. If you what is God, then you judge me foolish person.
