My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones and colleagues. May you cherish the memories you made with him. Please take comfort in the promise of the Most High found in Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away ALL tears from their eyes; and there shall be NO MORE death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

    Sleep on ’til resurrection morning.

    • You are so right, Real Talk. There IS a resurrection morning, but only those were saved/born again and washed in the blood of the Lamb will be going to Heaven. I hope he was.

  2. Heartfelt sympathy to my former student of History. A great guy blessed with so much talent. Rest in eternal peace my beloved son.

  3. I do not know this man Edimelo.I have heard his Calypsos. There is something that worries me and troubling.Lately there seems to be the deaths of quite a few young men in Antigua.I do not know if it is my imagination.Rest in Peace Edimelo.

  4. Condolences to his family and friends. Just a few weeks ago, I recall seeing him at the gym, working out. This is just another reminder that we need to treat our time on this earth as if its precious. This idea of allowing bitterness and pettiness to control us has to stop. Focus has to be on things which add value and ensure we do our ancestors proud.

  5. Edimelo, an ambassador of the Grays Green community & the nation by extension, had a unique style to display his art form….. He was always well dressed artist. He had a rich smooth melodious voice that will entertain you from reggae to calypso…. His calypsoes were deep, well compiled and very metaphorical causing the minds of his spectators to take time out to unravel his message….. The “Black Rose” was one such song…… The sporting & calypso fraternity will greatly miss him…. The void he has left will certainly be unreplaceable. To his family, friends & supporters, I say stay strong…. God is the only one who has the answer as to why he has taken Edimelo so soon……. Perhaps his mission on earth was completed….. Edimelo, you are gone and you will be engraving in the minds of many of us, many years of your art form and your charismatic personality…..May his soul rest in Perpetual peace…..
