Twenty-three-year-old Delano Forbes is the man police suspect of killing several “vagrants” dating as far back as 2015.

Forbes was recently charged with the murder of Wilfred “Bongo” Williams whose body was found locked in an outside latrine, days after he was reported missing.

Acting deputy commissioner of police Everton Jeffers said, “During the investigation, information received led to a search of the suspect’s place of abode, and two small bottles of what appeared to be blood were found. There are potentially three other homicides which are being investigated and additional murder charges may be laid against the accused in the coming days.”

The three homicide victims are Sean Henry who was discovered on May 10, 2017, in an abandoned house in the city with a slash to his throat and Lisue “Dirty” Samuel whose body was discovered on February 21, 2017, outside the Industrial School for the Blind, on lower All Saints Road. Samuel’s throat had also been slashed.

The third victim was found decomposed in 2015, in the vicinity of Country Pond.

“The police will be reviewing the evidence and statements collected so far and will update the public within the next week or so,” Jeffers said.

On Wednesday, public safety minister Steadroy Cutie Benjamin said “there is a person in custody at the moment who like the days of the vampire, I beleive their (the victims’) throats would be slashed and blood drank.”

  1. How could this perpetrator remain on the loose and continue with these serial murders for so long? We never heard of any suspects, theories or warnings for two years? When did this young man first surface as a potential suspect? The police clearly need some help with forensics if it took 6 victims before police closed in on this young man. A lot of questions need to be answered. What is the AG saying? Did this young man act alone?

  2. Antigua is a small country with less resources so u can’t expect them to find a killer with one or two murders unless he chat out himself or some one positively identify him america has more technology than us and I seen real life documentary where killers have nine and ten murders and police take years and years to catch them so be thankfull them catch he at least they tried
