  1. Everything gone backwards in this country. In many years gone by during the rainy season fogging was a common thing to keep down the mosquitoes and the diseases they carry. Similarly the health inspectors would come around and ensure water tanks etc are covered. That there are no breeding ground for mosquitoes around.
We are now in a more advance and educated age , so we may not need the amount of health inspectors going from house to house in large groups. However they should be some general checks, especially after over 5 inches of rain in one day.
The fogging should have been going on throughout the rainy season. So the fogging schedule is a joke. You all are way behind schedule time when increased fogging should be done.
Do you know the when a country has increase or is listed for mosquito borne diseases that travel advisories are given out against it. So with all the planning for a bumper tourism season, do you know that it can be crippled with an outbreak of there Mosquitoes borne diseases.
The other economic damage is that the cost of treatment is far more than prevention . The lost of labour especially in this peak economic time of the year will surely damage the economy.
Calling on the government and the Pm – To build an economic power house you have to dot all your I’s and cross all you T’s. Health is wealth.
Off course more education programs need to be in place to inform the general public about the dangers of the mosquitoes. See how them politicians bombard you on social media- that tool is also available to the health officials.
Don’t wait until we are having people dying be proactive for one. You are definitely behind the 8 ball and still pussyfooting.
