Flash Flood Warning in place for Antigua and Barbuda

Please note that the latest update from the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Office is that Antigua and Barbuda is under a flash flood warning.

This means that flooding is expected based on the amount of rainfall anticipated for the islands.

A flash flood watch was issued for Barbuda earlier but was upgraded to a warning.

The flash flood advisory for Antigua issued earlier was also upgraded to a warning.

So both islands are under a flash flood warning.

  1. I believe this is an error “A flash flood watch was issued for Barbuda earlier but was upgraded to a watch.”

    I believe it should be upgraded to a warning.

  2. No political campaigning today , no bribing for votes today and I wish this weather persist right through tomorrow. Then on Tuesday clear blue sky. Then let the voting being and votes counted. Democracy will win.
    We still need constitution reforms, campaign finance reforms and set Election dates for general and by-election . This should be written in STONE
    and not having a one man having it in his head or saying it’s in his back pocket etc etc. So for example the next general election date should be already known. If there is a by-election it should be a specific amount of days after seat becomes vacant. It feels like this one man band holding an entire nation hostage as it stands now. Time for progressive and positive change.
