A five-year-old girl drowned at Royalton Antigua this morning, according to media reports.
The young girl was at the Resort with her family who arrived from Germany.
It is reported that she was playing in a pool with other children and got into difficulties.
She was found unresponsive and pool attendants and the Emergency Medical Services rendered assistance.
The girl was transported to Mount St John’s Medical Centre where she died despite efforts to resuscitate her.

As a parent with blood flowing through my heart of course you have empathy and accidents happens I agree but be assured that if the hotel is negligent in even the slightest way they will be held accountable. The pain of losing the child is not enough because you must understand what,why and how so it doesn’t happen to another child . .

I am at this hotel. The mother is a US citizen. Not German. The management say they have no evidence of what happened despite many people witnessing the accident. I have had my personal belongings stolen. Cctv confirmed who did it but agin they don’t care. The police arrested the employee but they only agree to pay for my loss if I sign to say I won’t post anything in social media. Well fuck
