I have a friend as a security guard work at a prominent hotel and she post on the beach and these kids on horse back ride on the beach where the guests are on the beach the people running to get out of the way the guard stop them and tell them not to return which they most certainly did and they start again the gaurs tried again these kids cuss the guard out and first what comes of their mouth is a must a Jamaican she be. A fi we country and beach. They on the beach begging the tourist money to buy water and harassing everyone that comes across them.

   • @feduptiguan: the onliest word I love to hear coming from these youngster mouth is ” she must be Jamaican” yes because the white system get our color to maintain Jim crowism of white and black areas, I can’t for get going to a coco hotel or hotels for that matter for breakfast and lunch, my experience at one was a Jamaican security guard came to my table to shout move me taxi bus, and I have never done taxi in my life, but a new SUV was parked rightfully which the Jamaican security guard assume couldn’t be mine, the white manager apologized, the next on was sugar ridge where the receptionist look pass me in the line with white people booking lunch and said to me she will get the maintenance manager for me, as I tried to explain I am there for lunch she shouted she will get the maintenance manager for me, because I must be there seeking employment, I could dear have the money for such costly lunch, the cart driver that take the patrons up to the restaurant and employee himself got irate and shouted down his co worker the receptionist that the man is here for lunch, then she stop calling the white patrons a the back of me forward and attended to me, so I understand these youths wanting to assert themselves as Antiguan but not as criminals, I condemn their actions but support their rights to utilize our resources be it the beach, we are alienated from it for the amusement of the tourist, in Miami or the USA beaches, pavement is made for recreation on the beach for roller skates etc. is only white people entitled to privilege? What about black Antiguan privilege’s? As I say youth stop the crime and be vociferous about utilizing your country land resources.

6. Maybe the time has come to re-think the law dealing with minors. There should be a different law for gang members, minors with weapons, and those commiting violent acts. We now have a growing gang culture which the government, police, and society in general are at a loss at how to deal with it. All we have is every part of society making it not their problem

   Here are a few which the People must begin to consider, as punishment for children EIGHT to SIXTEEN, based upon the proven offence(s), as legally defined by law…

   A…crimes committed such as, theft, threats to do bodily harm, loitering(I know, it kills LIMING, but that will have to be in the form of controlled lining – fetes, picnic, social events etc, but the wanton liming on corners! Bye! Bye! Hasta la vista).
   You get a PUBLIC FLOGGING in front of your parents/guardians(MANDATORY, and you lose pay for the day from your job etc),

   Next, more serious crimes which is any crime committed with a weapon, stone, to string, to chains, to drones) you get charged as an adult(Facilities and housing to rehabilitation is different than those of ADULTS).
   Those who think, that this is outrageous, States in America, one of the areas around the HUEman world where these Street Thugs/Gangs, HUEman_Pac_Dawgs learn and hone their crafts are drafting and passing LEGISLATION(S), to curtail and arrest, their WAYWARDNESS and WANTON DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOURS.

   Anyone SIXTEEN YEARS and over, get charged as an ADULT, regardless, of the Crime!

   The policy makers in Antigua, Barbuda & REDONDA, must expand its holding facility’s for offenders charged, on remand, convicted and sentenced to the Private Sector.
   Storage Containers, can be converted into Sleeping Quarters and adopt a Prison Style in Arizona where they are housed under TENTS during the day! This can be in collaboration with the Defense Force, some of their rehab may have some former convicts for non-violent crimes becoming soldiers or other members of law enforcement, litter wardens, Waste management etc.
