Cabinet Notes: The Cabinet held a weighty discussion on the recent Mehul Choksi developments, including the international issues raised by his appearance in the Commonwealth of Dominica.

  1. Did he do that to himself? If not, I think Antigua is becoming a very dangerous place where customer officers get shot and murder for doing their job and people get kidnapped dumped to Island where it is easier for them to be send back home. I hope I am wrong and just paranoid.

  2. C.I.P was created with good intentions and objectives by the various Caribbean Government. Sadly, we have seen a few undesirable situation as a result. nonetheless, if this isn’t Handley properly it will cause many others to rethink twice before jumping onto C.I.P in the future for both Antigua and Dominica. I hope this is still salvageable, at the end of the day selling citizenship to someone affords them all the benefits of that citizenship, which is unconditional and provides protection and rights to that person. like it or not that is the reality of that business.

  7. I though this guy was sooo sick, with so many health issues? How did he survive that long trip by boat to Dominica. Something to think about.
