Two Freight liners FL80 Ferrara Fire Pumper trucks, have been purchased to further equip, Fire Officers with the tools necessary to carry out their duties effectively.

The first of the newly assigned Fire truck, arrived on island this week and the other is set to arrive within the next two weeks.

Currently, the island has five fire tenders, three placed at Coolidge, one in St. Johns and the other at Johnsons point.

Weaver noted with the recent addition all Fire stations including All Saints will have operating fire tenders on location ready to address any situation.

He added that the government has also secured three additional fire tenders out of the UK that will arrive within the next month.

The Fire Chief is happy that his department is getting the right equipment necessary for the job.

    • GREAT ADVICE!! WHEN PROMISES ARE MADE BY THE ABLP ADMINISTRATION, PROMISES ARE WELL KEPT……. The govt needs to have a proper ” audit inspection center ” so that all govt vehicles are examined & accounted for after each job assignment…. There are traitors onboard the ABLP ship, they need to be tightly in check. They will mismanage & vandalize if they get the chance to do so to accomplish their political agenda

      • So if they’re traitors and you a can point them out….. check eeeen nuh man, you jussa chat nj

    Forward together all 🇦🇬 #EconomicPowerhouse #Transformation

    • I bet that the woof wood is not happy because the planned incineration of Booby Alley has met a bump but then again, a fire truck without water is useless.

  2. Kudos for what? It should not have come down to this at all. This is what they get paid monthly to do. Why do they always wait until the “dung” hits the ceiling before they react?

  3. Don’t know if it’s the picture, but that look like a small truck. I hope it’s not refurbished and some middle man didn’t get a percument fee.

    • Wadadli Power Plant cost 100 million and it wasn’t NEW… you remember that Chinese power plant UPP bought?

      • Using a different pseudonym today? your cult have been in office for how long. Where is the investigation and the evidence.
There is treatment available for schizophrenia.

      • @Advice Block: The WPP was sold to West Indies Oil by Gaston Browne Administration for $100 million.

  4. Is it just me or that truck doesn’t look new? What are they doing with the old ones. Can one get one, or will they just sit and rot?…asking for a friend

  5. Mr. Weaver previously explained that these used firetrucks are “like new” – low mileage, pristine condition,

  6. Let’s hope and pray that they will not mash this one up and then complain that they have no vehicles to do their work.

  7. At least they are not “NEW” like the WADADLI POWER CAN’T THAT UPP SQUANDERED TAXPAYERS MONIES TO BUY “WITHOUT PARLIAMENTARY APPROVAL”

  8. At least they are not “NEW” like the WADADLI POWER CAN’T THAT UPP SQUANDERED TAXPAYERS MONIES TO BUY “WITHOUT PARLIAMENTARY APPROVAL”

Fire Department can better serve the country

  9. I don’t understand why you would not get a harmonized fleet for a country that finds it hard to keep up with maintenance. Go either American, or British, and buy the same used truck each time. The British trucks are better for the size of the road, and salt protection, the American ones are better for the climate conditions, so long as they are sourced from a warm state.
A harmonized fleet allows just one set of diagnostic tools, and in 6 months when you flip one on it’s side, you have a source of parts.
