A fire at Spencer’s Enterprise on American Road reportedly destroyed a Nissan pickup and at least one 40-foot container on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, someone contacted the emergency services after hearing an explosion in the area around 5:55.
Three fire trucks from St. John’s Fire Station and one from the V. C. Bird International Airport responded to the blaze.
There were no reports of injuries and investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
