A two-storey house in the Point area was destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon, leaving four people without a home.
Firefighters were on scene battling the flames minutes after 3 pm.
The raging inferno eventually caused the first floor of the building to collapse into the ground floor where an upholstery business was operated.
The fire also destroyed a vehicle parked outside the building and caused damage to nearby homes.
There were no reports of injuries and police are investigating the cause of the fire.
