Fire causes damage at Blackpine Power Plant

Firefighters were called to the Blackpine Power Plant this morning after a fire broke out at the facility.

 

According to reports, a booster at the Crabbes facility caught fire after overheating.

 

The booster, which is reportedly used for voltage regulation, was said to be severely damaged.

 

The flames also reportedly caused damage to a separator at the facility.

Blackpine has been in use and the damage is being assessed.

  1. It is amazing.The plant is being closed down.Now this fire started by an over heated booster.I hope it is investigated by the Fire Department.
