Finance Minister Gaston Browne has suggested adding eggs to the list of price-controlled items following a Farmers Association statement about an upcoming price increase to $14 per dozen.
Browne, speaking in Parliament, expressed concern over the sharp rise in egg prices, noting suppliers raised prices by 20-30 percent despite only a 10 percent cost increase.
While farmers acknowledge price controls could help, they believe it may not solve the industry’s broader issues.

When Mr. Epicurean himself raise up his prices, govt have fuck all to say about it. When a local farmer needs to raise prices due to operational costs govt now have something to say.
