A female pump attendant was injured during an armed robbery at Ace Enterprises on Saturday afternoon.
The attack, carried out by two men armed with guns and on foot, targeted the service station located at the roundabout of Sir George and Sir Sydney Walling Highways, shortly after 4 p.m.
The men assaulted the pump attendant, hitting her with an object, and stole an undisclosed sum of money.
They then fled, leaving other employees in shock.
The woman was taken to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

They know there aren’t any police officers on patrol and those on duty at the different stations, don’t have, most of the time, transportation available.

It is dangerous for pump attendants to have cash. Patrons should pay inside the station. There should be cameras and plexiglass to protect the cashiers. This will protect the pump attendants and also eliminate collusion by the attendants.
We need to move to debit card pumps like in the US
