According to reports, a female guard attached to the Special Security Services telephoned the 911 emergency hotline and reported that an unknown man was attempting to break into the APUA Business Centre on High Street and Independence Drive
This alleged offence occurred at about 4 a.m. last Thursday, November 30.
Reports say the security officer was sitting inside the building when she saw a male figure, dressed in dark-coloured clothing, striking the glass on the southern side with a hard object.
When she reportedly got up from her seated position and the person saw her, he fled from the scene.
Reportedly, the man had managed to break the glass of a southern door and then proceeded to shatter the glass on the eastern side of the building before he was disturbed by the guard on duty.
