For monitoring and evaluation purposes under the DG Single Fund COVID 19 Response project, IICA’’s National Specialist, Mr. Craig Thomas along with Extension Officer Joel Matthew, visited some of the beneficiary farmers who have already good results from the supplies received.
These included fertilizers, seeds, drip irrigation lines and other inputs which greatly helped to improve their production.
The Farmers- Lakome Edwards, Yvonne Nicholas and Audey Daley all heaped praises on IICA for the timely donations which they have put to good use on their respective farms.
The Ministry of Agriculture was also commended for working closely with IICA to ensure that all the beneficiaries remain on track in their quest to boost food and nutrition security in Antigua and Barbuda.
