Update on Andre

Thank you for the support from family and friends – it has been tremendous. Andre is in the greatest fight of his life… for his life. We believe that he will win. CLICK HERE TO JOIN WHAT’S APP GROUP

 

The head trauma that my brother experienced takes some time to heal.

 

We are still waiting for him to be more independent of the machines that are supporting him. Because these processes take time, we are encouraging family and friends to stand with him on this long journey.

 

Updates may not come in daily but we will do our best to keep you informed. We can feel your care and support and we are so appreciative.

 

Although he hasn’t woken up as yet we are hoping that his body is using this time to heal.

There are some tests that he should do but he is not stable enough as yet to do them.

The medical developments that we are hoping to happen soon:

 

1. For him to breathe independently of the support machine
2. For him to keep showing improvements in his affected areas (brain and lungs)

 

Things that we are doing:

 

1. Working along with the hardworking medical team here to see how best we can support.
2. Preparing for the medium term and long term phases of recovery.

 

We believe that prayer is and extremely important part of this journey.
