Family grateful for support with eye procedures

The Marshall family of Browne’s Avenue is to receive support from the Ministry of Health and the Environment for a major operation this weekend.

The couple’s one-year-old son, Dre`den Marshall, who suffers from congenital glaucoma in both eyes is to undergo surgery at the Bascombe Palmer Eye Institute in Miami Florida on February 27th.

Their oldest child, Jennique Marshall, was also diagnosed with congenital glaucoma at the age of two months. In June of 2017, she underwent surgery to remove her left eye.

The eight-year-old now wears a prosthetic eye.

The couple is grateful for the support they have received from the Ministry of Health and the Environment.
