As the war for Africa’s resources continue unabated but undercover, the Western powers are surreptitiously planning the last big thrust for the colonization of Ethiopia by supporting the tribal war being waged in Ethiopia.

The last time when Italy and Germany sought to destroy the Kingdom of Ethiopia, the embattled Emperor H.I.M Haile Selassie 1 implored the world leaders at the League of Nations to lend support as he beseeched, “What shall I go back and tell my defenseless people.” Who will now appeal to the United Nations to do their job?

Most of Ethiopia is still defenseless, although the economic development ushered in by H.I.M has brought the ancient kingdom into the world of global politics, where regional influence and ancient history becomes the target in the derailing the entire continent, whose mineral and other resources are the key elements in the growth of technology and consumerism.

The people of Ethiopia appear to be forgotten by the world as the threat of tribal war draws blood in the country of pilgrims.

The UN Security Council is deaf and dumb in the face of possible genocide by failure to intercede. In the years since the kingdom ceased, the U.S. and UK, appeared to support Ethiopia, but are very silent as the tensions continue to rise, and the smell of blood swirls in the air around Addis Ababa.

The black world has to rouse itself and recognize that the Europeans and Americans are busy keeping out Arab and black migrants from their countries, and have labeled the troubles of Ethiopia as a civil war.

The Caribbean has always been there for Africa, be it our Pan- African activists leaders fighting internationally for change, and our Bob Marley in the Southern African independence struggles, and our Cuban fighters and healers all over Africa, and our Rastafari love and deifying of H.I.M. – We are always there.

Except for now!

Rastafari of the Caribbean and the world are also silent as Ethiopia totters on the brink of a tribal war that could spread to all Africa, especially during a pandemic. There is still time to raise a cry for our beloved country Ethiopia!
