
Potters Man Remanded on Attempted Murder Charge After Chemical Attack
A 33-year-old man from Potters has been remanded in custody after appearing in court on an attempted murder charge.
Ericson Williams is accused of spraying Josh Charles, also of Potters, with a hazardous substance during an incident on April 21. Charles suffered serious injuries and remains hospitalized at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Williams is due to return to court on July 14, 2025.
Police are continuing their investigation and have urged anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914.

Josh did nothing to provoke the attack. He was just heading home from the shop when he was attacked from behind, then splashed with a corrosive acid when he involuntarily turned.
It was a vicious and unprovoked attack on a ulung man who chose to turn the other cheek after multiple verbal attacks which then escalated into a physical attack. The perpetrator is a danger to society
