ERICSON WILLIAMS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda — Thursday, May 15, 2025
The police have arrested and formally charged 33-year-old Ericson Williams of Potters with Attempted Murder.
The charge stems from an incident that occurred on April 21 in Potters, where Williams allegedly sprayed Josh Charles, also of Potters, with a hazardous substance.
Charles sustained severe injuries as a result and remains hospitalized at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.
Williams is expected to make his first court appearance today.
The police continue their investigation and urge anyone with additional information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914.

To: Rovi, and Cleer, Josh does not even know the guy, although it has been said that the guy has constantly been cursing him.
Josh has kept his head straight and has never paid him any attention; therefore, please do not insinuate that they have been in any kind of relationship.

Sir : l usually respect your opinion. I hold you in high regards, but please do not make light of what Josh has been going through. If you think that it is just a severe skin peeling and irritation, then , Sir, please ask Ericson to demonstrate it on you.
Both Ericson Williams and Josh Charles have been diagnosed with mental illnesses.
I hope the court gets both these young men the phycological help they need. If you speak with anyone in potters they will tell you about these young men.
They are both mentally challenged.

Williams seems to be mentally troubled. He said in court that Josh looked like someone who sexually abused him when he was young and that is why he attacked him.
