The elderly woman who died yesterday after her car crashed in Sea View Farm has been identified as Lolita Nicholas.
The 65-year-old woman died in hospital after the Suzuki S-X 4 motor car she was driving crashed into a tree.
The police say the senior citizen was traveling north to south along the road about 4:27 this afternoon when she took ill.
She stopped to the side of the road and was attempting to exit the vehicle.
While doing so, she inadvertently pressed the accelerator pedal and the vehicle slammed into a tree.
She sustained serious injuries and the Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene within 5 minutes and rushed her to the hospital.
Unfortunately, she died while receiving treatment.
