A 70-year-old man is now in stable condition in hospital after being shot in the Cashew Hill area
The shooting occured shortly after 1 Friday afternoon.
The elderly man had just arrived home when he was approached by three assailants.
He was shot once in the upper thigh.
It is not clear at this time if his attackers robbed him of any items before speeding off in a white car.
Police are investigating.
