  1. When are the authorities gonna finally realize that we….the public ARE NOT going to do their jobs while they are sitting on their butts not doing ANYTHING!!

  2. investigate the robbery in Swetes, the most crime filled village in Antigua right now. it’s alleged a young man was held at gun point and robbed fo an undisclosed some of money.

  3. HOME INVASION? YOU MAD LIKE HELL

Two things wrong with this news report:

    (i) ‘…Robbers are not called ‘…Male Suspects’ unless detained/arrested; and

(ii) …When they forced their way into the ‘…Victim’s Castle’ and ‘Assaulted’ him with force,’
then made off with any kind of property, that is ‘CLEAR’ robbery’ [Paragraph 2].

Just who could have ‘witnessed’ the ‘…Robbery’ to call Police?

No one saw, and no one is calling [Paragraph 3].

Better leave the darn ‘…Police Station’ to conduct criminal inquiries.

  4. Very sad what Antigua has become…
Can someone interview some of these criminals after conviction and ask them why? Why did they choose this lifestyle? Why didn’t they just get a job or start a business? Do they realize that they are bringing about the downfall of their country? When all the hardworking decent people leave because they refuse to live in a crime-ridden country, it will be all downhill from there. Who is going to provide the needed services in a high quality way? When all the good businessmen, nurses, teachers, police officers, doctors, retirees etc. leave for more peaceful pastures, things will only get worse in healthcare, education, policing and availability of services… Why not help build up your country instead of tearing it down?

  5. @ Rawlston, why shoot the messenger?

Even you must realise that any such breaking news story isn’t going to be as polished as a news item with more long term facts.

You only have to watch a breaking live news broadcast and the lack of information to the audience witnessing ongoing events to realise that by the time that the REAL news has been revealed, it’s totally different from the original news feed.

Come on Rawlston, give this news a break, and direct your irie at the perpetrator(s).

BTW, in the past I’ve enjoyed much of what you have written.
